i was bored while waiting at the NUH Pharmacy!waiting at the pharmacy at the hospital is like trying your luck at 4D,You Q to get a number, it's like Q-ing to buy the winning ticket...And if there's many people there Q-ing, the longer u gotta wait to get your number.. checking your ticket when u finally get it,n comparing against the Current number... it's like those uncles and aunties checking their 4D tickets at 7.30pm on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday..looking frantically for their number to appear on the screen.. then when the numbers start to get closer to urs,then when the next number gets beeped in,thinking that they've finally called you,you approach the counter expecting to get ur huge ass pay out..but then the person at the counter tells u that it's not ur number, n that u're gg to be called up soon..This feels as though u just missed the first prize, n somehow got a consolation coz u know it's going to be u soon.. Finally when your number is called!! u cant believe ur eyes, u check the Q ticket again, just like 4D, when u hear ur number announced on the radio, u switch the channel just waiting to listen to the person reading out the number, And u cant believe ur ears!!You jump up for joy n orientate urself to the right counter... walking there feeling proud that u finally got the "First prize".. collecting ur medication is like collecting ur 4D winnnings... now you must be thinking " What an analogy?! like that also can!" well im bored and there's nth to do when u're waiting for medician at the NUH pharmacy.. well the Q's bloody long, and there's many people stricken with illness...people walk out of the hospital with bags and bags of medication, just like how a housewife would walk out of NTUC or coldstorage..
